Sore after a workout? There's nothing worse than feeling sore, but there's a bunch of things you can do to help with the recovery. Recovery is extremely important so you don't get injured. Something that's also extremely important is making sure that you are getting enough rest too. Here are a few things you can do to recover and feel better.

Cryotherapy:

Cyrotherapy also known as cold therapy is a technique where the body is exposed to extremely cold temperatures for several minutes and can be delivered to just one area or you can opt for the whole body. More localized treatment involves ice or gel packs verses whole body treatment which can involve either an ice bath or ice box.

Massage Gun:

A message gun can help reduce tension, include blood flow, break up scar tissue, speed up rehab and more. Plus, it can help for a quick recovery and to help reduce muscle tension.

Foam Roller:

A foam roller can help relieve muscle tightness, soreness, and inflammation. Foam rolling can be an effective tool to add to your warm up or cool down, before and after exercise.

Sauna:

There are many benefits to using a sauna such as improved heart function, lowered risk of stroke, reduced risk of dementia, and reduced inflammation and muscle soreness.
