Ground-Based Nutrition Announces The Release Of Its Organic Plant-Based Electrolytes

Ground-Based Nutrition announces the release of the latest product in its Sport Series plant-based performance line – Certified Organic Plant-Based Electrolytes.

SAN DIEGO — November 28, 2017 — Ground-Based Nutrition, an innovative leader in the natural plant-based nutrition industry, has announced the release of its new certified organic 100% plant-based electrolyte powder.  With 5 key electrolytes and 72 trace minerals all coming from plant-based sources, Ground-Based Nutrition’s electrolytes are designed to have the perfect mix of plant-based minerals and electrolytes to support rapid rehydration and recovery.

Electrolytes are necessary for proper hydration, and an electrolyte balance is important in order to optimize muscle function and physical performance.  Research has shown that the body is not able to efficiently replace all electrolytes as they are expended during exercise which is why athletes turn to electrolytes to rehydrate and recover.

“Ground-Based Nutrition’s Organic Electrolytes are a game-changer as it’s the first electrolyte product on the market ever to be derived from 100% plant-based sources instead of synthetic chemicals and compounds found in other electrolyte products,” Charles C. Weller, CEO and Founder of Ground-Based Nutrition.  “Being first to market on innovative products is what fuels our passion to deliver the very best plant-based nutrition products to our consumers.”

Ground-Based Nutrition’s electrolytes are derived from organic coconut water, organic banana, organic pineapple, tart cherry, Himalayan sea salt, and plant-based trace minerals from seaweed.  They are available in refreshing pineapple coconut flavor in either 30-serving containers or convenient stick pack options.

Ground-Based Nutrition’s new electrolyte powder is 100% plant-based, certified organic, vegan and gluten free.  They contain nothing artificial, no synthetic chemicals, and no added sugar.  Ground-Based Nutrition’s Electrolytes are available at select retail stores across the country and at major online retailers.  For more information, please visit www.ground-based.com.
