This year has been one that no one saw coming. Whether you're the family that runs on holidays or stays home and does all of the cooking. We want to make sure we give you plenty of ideas to stay active and healthy.

On this holiday post, we are going to dive deep into the best virtual Turkey Trot Races that you can do this year. Some of these races have gone virtual while others haven't. Find the race that fits you best.

San Francisco Turkey Trot:

November 21-26, 2020

Based in San Francisco, CA

The 18th annual San Francisco Turkey Trot is special as it's priced by the calorie. This race offers 3 options before you indulge in your Turkey Day feast: the Turkey Trail Trot (5-mile run, 600 calories), Pilgrim Promenade (3-mile walk, 300 calories) and Kids Gobbler Chase (100-meter fun run, 8 calories). Proceeds from the race will also benefit the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank.

Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot:

November 26, 2020

Based in Dallas, TX

The Dallas YCMA Turkey Trot could be the largest in the nation and has been going on for 50 years. The 5K and 8K distances have time and untimed registration options, plus this race has something for everyone in the family!

Run Turkey Run:

November 14-21, 2020

This race may be virtual this year, but the organizers took the time to create course maps for over 100 cities across the US.

Nakon Foundation Turkey Dash:

November 26, 2020

Based in Avon, Ohio

Funds raised go to women and their families in Northeast Ohio who are impacted from the financial burden of breast cancer treatments. Last year over $30,000 was raised!

Turkey Mosh 5K:

November 26-29, 2020

Based in Erianger, Kentucky

Although you won't get to hike up Mosh Mountain, you can pick your favorite virtual rout to complete your virtual Turkey Mosh!

Regardless of which race you decide to do. You can always find a turkey trot in a city near you where you can pick your own walk/running course.
