KRISSY CHIN B.S., MSPT: Ground-Based Spokesperson!

Krissy Chin is a highly ambitious, driven and successful fitness & medical professional. She was highly competitive and engaged in sports throughout her childhood, which continued into high school where she was a 3-Varsity athlete and captain earning honors. Krissy was profoundly propelled into health and fitness when both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer. They both battled and later lost their lives to the awful disease. Krissy was then further determined & motivated to approach life in a healthy, positive and upward direction while inspiring & helping others along the way.

Well Rounded Inspiration!

Krissy graduated Valedictorian from Touro College (Bayshore, NY) in 2000 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy/Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences with Summa Cum Laude Honors. She has been in practice as a Physical Therapist since 2000 after graduating Valedictorian with the highest GPA ever recorded in the school’s history (3.972/4.0). Alongside her medical career, she has been competing successfully in figure since 2003. Krissy earned her IFBB Pro card at the 2007 NPC Team Universe/Figure Nationals & since turning Pro, she has competed in the Figure International (Arnold) 2x, the Figure Olympia 3X (qualified for her 4th Olympia but did not compete due to her 1st pregnancy) and has placed top 5 in 11 Pro shows including 5 Top 2 finishes.

Krissy is also a Team Gaspari Athlete, emcee/host of IFBB/NPC fitness events, provides social media services for companies, works with clients in achieving their health & fitness goals, has been featured in fitness magazines including FitnessRX for Women online, Muscle & Fitness Hers Online, Status, Planet Muscle & Ironman and she most recently has become a first time mother. Once Krissy learned of her pregnancy, she took even a bigger initiative to lead a healthier lifestyle. She shared her new journey to motherhood on FitnessRX for Women online in her column titled, “Pregnant & Loving Fit.” In her column, she shared how you can enjoy & stay fit through your pregnancy by incorporating proper nutrition & supplementation, proper training and getting adequate rest & recovery.

Krissy changed her nutrition and supplementation regimen when she first learned of her pregnancy and started following a more plant-based diet, which she continues today. When she first learned of and tried Ground-Based Nutrition’s Superfood Protein Smoothie, she was thrilled.
