If your diet is on-point, but the stubborn fat just isn’t going away, there are certain types of exercises which stimulate a process called mitochondrial biogenesis.
Learn this powerful keto hack to significantly increase your body’s ability to burn fat and improve weight loss…
Regular exercise while on a ketogenic diet can help boost your ketone levels as your body needs to burn glucose stores present in the body to get into ketosis. The more frequently you exercise, the quicker your body depletes its glycogen stores. And once your glycogen stores are depleted, your body will seek out other forms of fuel and will turn to fat for energy through ketosis. Research has shown that high-intensity exercise will deplete glycogen stores quicker than slower steady state aerobic exercises.
With high-intensity training, your body will burn calories for up to 24 hours AFTER the exercise session ends, something that does not happen with low-intensity exercise. High-intensity interval training also improves insulin sensitivity, increases your anaerobic/lactate threshold, raises your aerobic capacity to utilize oxygen more efficiently, and it even has an anabolic effect that can help build muscle.
Although the ketogenic diet is very low carb, don’t be afraid to use high-intensity interval training to maximize your body’s ability to burn fat and lose weight.
