Orange you glad it's healthy? Oranges are one of the healthiest fruits that are packed with lots of great health benefits. Oranges are high in vitamin C, help with a healthy immune system, prevent skin damage, keep blood pressure in check, lowers cholesterol, and are said to help lower the risk of cancer. The vitamin C in oranges helps your body by protecting your cells from damage, helping your body make collagen, making it easier to absorb iron to fight anemia, boosting your immune system to help fight germs, and slows the advance of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) cause vision loss.
There are many different varieties of oranges--some are sweet and some are more sour. Common types of oranges include: Naval, Mandarin, Cara Cara, Blood Oranges, Valencia, Seville, and Jaffa.

12 grams of sugar
1 gram of protein
14 micrograms of vitamin A
70 milligrams of vitamin C
237 milligrams of potassium
